He became the first boxer since Mike Tyson to be on the cover of TIME Magazine. Since that November 6, 2009 honor, Pacquiao has won his third Boxer of the Year Award and become the only pugilist in history to win seven titles in seven different boxing divisions. Moreover, in May 2010, he was elected to the house of representatives in the Philippine congress. "He is the first active boxer to become a congressman in the Philippines."
