In the past few hours, I'm seeing a lot of the identical message from friends on facebook. The message sent by email and facebook chat says this (accessing the link is NOT recommended. That's why clickthrough is deactivated and spaces added to url.):
This is sick!!You have to see this!!Finally a way to see who views your facebook profile

So far, I can't find any news reference to this, but getting many of the same notifications, purportedly posted on my wall, I think it indicates that facebook is hacked.
One of the people who the message was purportedly sent from had this comment on her facebook page:
I have received a number of posts from some scam artists called Profile Peekers. Don't fall for this one folks. It's a scam to harvest your info.
