Letter to the Democratic Leadership

Dear Speaker Pelosi, Majority Leader Reid, Chairman Conyers, and other leaders of the Democratic Party:

We, the American people, know that your motivation in taking the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney "off the table" is to ensure victory in the 2008 elections.

Further, we know that you hope that - by letting Bush and Cheney run amok between now and the swearing in of the new President - you hope to ensure that the Democrats win "for a generation".

But please note that your game of "political cycles" cannot work if there is not a functioning country to run.

You have been trapped in a Washington bubble, and have badly misjudged what is really happening. In fact, history will condemn you for destroying the United States of America.

Specifically, when the history books are written, they will blame you for allowing the following for occurring on your watch and with your complicity:

- Shredding of the Bill of Rights, and destruction of the freedoms which our forefathers fought and died for

- Torture

- The launching of unnecessary, illegal wars based upon lies, which have bankrupted our country, created enemies around the world, and severely weakened the ability of our country to defend itself

- Elevating vote fraud to a fine art

- Condoning and then covering up false flag terror

Yes, we know . . . you will say "but the Neocons did it! We couldn't stop them!"

But as Constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley told Keith Olbermann: America's founders "would have been astonished by the absolute passivity, if not the collusion, of the Democrats in protecting President Bush from impeachment".

Future generations will be astounded as well.

And we also know that you are largely serving a different master than the American people.

Rather than being clever strategists on behalf of the Democratic party, rest assured that you will be viewed by history as traitors of the first order, leaders of the Vichy Congress, and co-conspirators in the destruction of the United States.

"vote fraud" and "voter fraud" is when voters cheat, and it's an almost non-existent problem evidenced by the fact that the Bush Administration has been trying super-hard to find some to prosecute and has found nothing, really. This non-existent problem is the reason the SCOTUS just upheld the Indiana voter ID/voter-disenfranchising law. Ann Coulter is one of the few people that are documented vote-fraudsters.

On the other hand, ELECTORAL fraud appears to be a huge issue, what with 2000, 2002 Cleland/Chambliss, 2004 and 2006 irregularities, numerous reports of votes being switched, machines not available or not working in Dem/poor districts, impossible vote totals, etc. Emachines are easily hackable and notoriously unreliable- any election conducted on one is suspect and lacking in legitimacy. Toilet paper trails don't count with 10% or higher spoilage rates, take 10 times or longer to read than hand-counting paper ballots- and only get a 1% audit most places, if that, and if there is a paper "trail".

Paper ballots, hand-counted, on election night, in the local precinct is the best, most transparent and secure way- Canada does it, so can we. And numerous exit polls should be conducted by indy observers as a double check safeguard

The distinction between vote and electoral fraud is important, especially as the corporate MSM are confusing the two.

I am a senior, who has lived a full and diverse life. I have blessed the world with three children.I have just one grandchild. My desire is to see that these family members will have a safe world in which to live. That desire seems to be harder to accomplish as I witness the corporate world's dream of making slaves of all the citizens of the world.

As a Canadian voter

I would never ever put my ballot into a box to be sent for counting unless I was able to double check it to make sure it said what I wanted it to say. I most certainly would never depend on a machine that can be "fiddled" with to express my vote mechanically, without my ability to double check it.

We do have voting machines here now but it is only a "backup" and the Paper Vote is still in my hands until I FOLD IT AND SEE IT INSERTED INTO THE BALLOT BOX

You really should send this letter via Internet and have ppl sign on to it. Then after thousands of signatures, send it express to Nancy Pelosi and the DLC.

Let them know, we are holding THEM accountable for Bush's constitutional violations if they stand and do nothing. I will personally summons the founders and have them verbally chastise her and Hoyer!! Heh heh.
