Thank you again for volunteering to help the League observe the August 9 and August 16 recall elections. We want to update you and ask for your help in recruiting volunteers.
We are putting the final touches on our online training module and will get back to you in the next 10 days with a schedule of webinars to take place the week of August 1. You are asked to participate in one webinar, although we will be offering it multiple times for your convenience.
In particular we need your help in recruiting many more volunteers, so we can cover the 800 polling places in the senate recall districts. If you know people who would be good poll watchers, urge them to read about the initiative on the League's homepage at www.lwvwi.org . The volunteer form is at:http://www.lwvwi.org/Home/2011ElectionObserverVolunteerForm.aspx. Feel free to forward this email to them!
