Editor’s note: This is an unedited email I received from J. Sassani, a Kurd activist with SKDC. My response to him follows his email.
Of course we do appreciate the editor of the Opednews for publishing our articles.
We are an organization in Iran and Iraq with limited resources trying to bring peace for our region. The Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) is busy to build Atomic Bombs. There are possibilities of bigger wars in the region. We are trying to convince the American policy maker to look at other options for challenging the IRI. We hope they will get our message before they can make any decisions.
It is very big hope. We might be too late in our request.
We are proposing the creation of the Aryan, or Iranian Economic Union (AU) for the Aryan people in the region. We are asking the Turks to join us in this union, if they accept our invitation, will be even better. We understand that the Jewish people world wide do not like the name Aryan. But we are born as Aryan before the Jewish and German conflicts.
We do need your help to write few articles about our request from the western countries. We hope they will change their policies in favor of peace. The Islamic terrorists and IRI do want wars. They do not have any feeling or values for the human life.
If western countries offering sound plans and treat the Aryan people like Europeans people, then there are a chance to mobilize the people to over through the IRI peacefully.
We hope you read our articles and help us by writing few articles to convince them we hope. We hope your articles will convince the American people and Canadian people to put presser on the Government to do some thing for avoiding the wars, just the hope.

Dear Jaff Sassani,
From what I understand about your efforts to form regional, as opposed to global, unions I very much support you. Most Americans simply do not know the historical, cultural & political history of your people & the problems they have today. In many ways, I am one of them. Since reading what you have written & looking at your website, I have been reading about the issues you have mentioned in your OEN articles. I will do what I can to help you. I think you are very wise to avoid the messy problems between the Jews & the Muslims. I am aware that you cannot stay out of it entirely, but I advise you to do what you can to prevent your goals from being defined by the hostilities between Israel & other groups. The Bush Administration has a dangerous, unrealistic policy toward Iran. In the early 1950's, the US tried to sabotage the Iranian government & turn it into a client American state in the Middle East. They failed. Iran will never forgive America for trying to do that. American conservatives STILL think that America should try to destroy Iran. Iran knows this & Iran also knows that if Chaney & Bush had been able to find a way, they would have destroyed Iran the way they have destroyed Iraq. Iran knows the ONLY sure protection from American aggression is nuclear weapons. America created this situation. I believe it is irreversible because the American military will never surrender their nuclear weapons & American politicians will persist in using them as primary tools of foreign policy. I think it is very worthwhile for you to continue trying to make your voice heard with the approaching Obama Administration. Ordinary, reasonable Americans DO NOT want a war with Iran. I believe you are working very hard to present an alternative to another war in your region. I agree with you that it is very possible & that it may be too late to prevent it. We must make conservatives & war profiteers understand that another war is absolutely unacceptable. Rigid ideological talk is only possible when no one is dropping bombs on you. There is nothing more urgent, not only for you, but for all of us, that we prevent a nuclear war in the Middle East. Bear two very important things in mind when you make your plans & express your views- American conservatives are weaker now than they have been in a generation. They are still very, very dangerous & many of them are doing everything they can to provoke a war with Iran. Secondly, the Obama Administration will not shrink from military solutions to geo-political issues. That means it is going to be extremely difficult for Democrats to reverse the unprecedented damage Republicans have done to America’s political institutions. On a more positive note, I believe the Obama Administration is the only administration in the last 30 years that may actually listen to you & understand what you are trying to say. We really don’t have any choice, we simply cannot allow a war with Iran to happen. The stupidity & horror of that is incomprehensible.

SKDC: We are an organization in Iran and Iraq dedicated to the mobilization of the Jaff people of both countries. We want to have a Voice in Kurdistan politics in order to defend our people's rights. These are our short term goals. Our long term goals are to establish the Aryan (Iranian) Economic Union (AU), which would be similar to the European Union (EU). We believe that our people and the Kurdish people will be free when all the Iranian people unite to establish the AU. Every sub nation of the Aryan (Iranian) nations within the AU will have the right to form and have their own independent country within the AU.
