Bush Rejected Iran Peace Offer

Iran offered to give up, just like Saddam. Spread the news. Iran offered to quit enriching uranium if Bush would promise not to attack.

Just a quick heads-up. Don't forget the history of this administration. Saddam offered to leave the country. Iran offered to seek peace. Bush prefers death and destruction. Bush needs enemies in order to profit from their deaths. US control of Iran's resources doesn't mean contracts and honorable business deals, it means US ownership with a gun at your head.

Quoting Noam Chomsky:

In 2003, Iran offered negotiations on all outstanding issues, including nuclear policies and Israel-Palestine relations. Washington's response was to censure the Swiss diplomat who brought the offer. The following year, the EU and Iran reached an agreement that Iran would suspend enriching uranium; in return the EU would provide "firm guarantees on security issues" - code for US-Israeli threats to bomb Iran.

Apparently under US pressure, Europe did not live up to the bargain. Iran then resumed uranium enrichment. A genuine interest in preventing the development of nuclear weapons in Iran would lead Washington to implement the EU bargain, agree to meaningful negotiations and join with others to move toward integrating Iran into the international economic system.

This offer was , Is , and will always be only a pipe dream - comiing stright out of Khamanie's Opiom pipe or the over eager leftist's hash pipes.

The Mullah's were never serious and will never give up their search for the atomic bomb - Are you Creazy ? the promisse of the Atom Bomb is the only thing that have bought them all this time - why would they give it up ?

Au Contraire

The US MIC has a history of setting up future wars, future enemies by selling military equuipment to those who can then be accused of having-- guess what?-- military equipment.

The US sold Saddam WMD's, sold Iran nuclear technology, is now selling China "dual-use" technologies.

Enemies are an essential part of any prosperous war machine.

Ahmadinejad's protestations and Iran's actions are irrelevant to the US scheme of empire.

Our defense contractors make more money than Iran is spending on nuke tech. The entire "terrorist" entity is a scam predicated to take control of political power and natural resources, while continuing to fleece the American treasury. Iran is next to irrelevant to the massive funds spent on killing people. Sure, fleas are an annoyance, but the dog has his teeth around your arm.

I hear cries for freedom elsewhere, while the US becomes less so. I hear support for free markets, then demanding a bailout due to incompetence.
I roll my eyes at those that accuse others being oppressed while the US has and still continues to the same and much worse. Laughing at pinheads who purchase and profit from those they curse.

Every time I return to visit I see a country I no longer recognize. A shredded Constitution, a spineless Congress ...

spell check? The word is opium.

Iran is a signor of the UN NP Treaty, has the right to develop nuclear energy and can be monitored to comply. Just like Hans Blix was doing in Iraq, looking for those alleged WMD's Bu$h & Co. lied about Ronald Reagan's "Freedom Fighter" Saddam supposedly had.

Now with Bu$h being the documented liar, I will give Ahmadinejad the benefit of the doubt over Bu$h any day. Until there is proof that he is lying, which so far Bu$h hasn't provided one shred of evidence.
