I was writing the lyrics to the following song, but had to wait until the mid-term elections were over.   The lyrics were dependent upon the outcome of California's marijuana proposition.   You'll probably get the picture if you read the lyrics while you listen to the song.

I Soon Shall Find My Ki

Prescription Bottle by Michael Bonanno

I went to see the doctor who controls pain
I told him that my bones were always creakin'.
I said I thought they could no longer stand rain
or even when the faucet begins leakin'.

So I soon shall find my ki
of medicine that grows up naturally.
I soon shall find my ki
cause my M.D. is takin' care of me.

I told him that my sight was getting' blurry.
Sometimes I didn't know where I was goin'.
He grabbed his pad and told me not to worry.
"We'll fix this problem "fore it starts to growin'."

So I soon shall find my ki
of medicine that grows up naturally.
I soon shall find my ki
cause my M.D. is takin' care of me.

So I soon shall find my ki
of medicine that grows up naturally.
I soon shall find my ki
"cause my M.D. is takin' care of me.

I said The Big C gets my stomach churnin'
and I didn't want to blow lunch in the open.
He said, "Ya know it's good we've started learnin'
and I do hope that this trend continues growin'."

So I soon shall find my ki
of medicine that grows up naturally.
I soon shall find my ki
"cause my M.D. is takin' care of me.

So I soon shall find my ki
of medicine that grows up naturally.
I soon shall find my ki
"cause my M.D. is takin' care of me.

To friendship,

Michael
