I don’t know much about Komar.  Wikipedia’s no help and neither is artnet’s Artist Works Catalogues.  But Komar seems equally at ease parodying Soviet Realism and Ronald Reagan.  (Or creating parody art concerning environmental contamination and the lowly status of workers in America.  See my prior article of Vitaly Komar’s works, here.)

So hey, I admit it: although he’s mellowed some recently, this guy’s my kind of equal opportunity protest artist.
