A surprising number of people, even health care activists, have not found out that top for-profit insurers have a massive and unacceptable conflict-of-interest by owning billions of dollars of investments in not just well-indicted Cigarette Manufacturers, but also in tobacco pesticides, pesticides in general, military weapons contractors, mountaintop removal coal mining, and on and on.

The next three are from the SEC---EDGAR database---where one with luck or research skills can find out where for-profit insurers invest. It's too bad, maybe tragic, that this incriminating evidence is not used prominently to remove such insurers from our public health programs
