It has been the case that two of my editorial cartoons on the Health Care topic may require some accompanying reference material.
A surprising number of people, even health care activists, have not found out that top for-profit insurers have a massive and unacceptable conflict-of-interest by owning billions of dollars of investments in not just well-indicted Cigarette Manufacturers, but also in tobacco pesticides, pesticides in general, military weapons contractors, mountaintop removal coal mining, and on and on.

So here's some reference material about that---the first two links to material from Physicians for a National Health Program.
The next three are from the SEC---EDGAR database---where one with luck or research skills can find out where for-profit insurers invest. It's too bad, maybe tragic, that this incriminating evidence is not used prominently to remove such insurers from our public health programs

For good measure, here are some other cartoons on the health care issue. Search up "Jonik Mindfully" for contact info if anyone wants copies to use.
