Happy New Year everyone!

Despite the sad news that the American government is ushering in the New Year with a murderous drone attack on Pakistan's tribal region, killing 20 people as the military again acts as judge, jury, prosecutor and executioner against the citizens of a country who is a formal, albeit second-rate ally (imagine trying this in France!), we at OpEdNews want to usher in the new year on a hundred-fold more positive note, so I have put together a YouTube video playlist spanning the globe with music, celebrations and messages conveying Happy New Year to us all, no matter who you are or where you are.

Everyone set your intention to make 2011 a more positive, uplifting and unifying new year that leaves all the negativity of 2010 in the dust. Thing big, think positively, think courageously to change the world in the direction it is meant to evolve, toward Brotherhood, Sisterhood and the Light.
