To me it seems somehow sadly symbolic that Ground zero is still a hole after 7 years. That we did not have the will and ingenuity to make it something better, something positive, something other than a Zero and that we did not have the will to succeed and to overcome. After seven long years of Republican rule and dominatin, nothing was done and nothing will get done as long as we continue to be dominated by Republicans who continue talk but no action.  Photo-ops without solutions and accomplishments for the American people.  For even the most basic things!  That is the message of Ground Zero and that is what Ground Zero is teaching us. That through failed policies, mismanagement and uncaring, we were unable to raise out of the ashes and make something that was ugly and despicable, beautiful and whole again.  Look at Ground Zero and see for yourself what Republican policies will do.  Nothing, natta, zero!  And that is not Change!

How long will we continue to be fooled by the Wizards of Oz and follow trustingly down the Yellow Brick Road?  Giving them our trust and faith when in reality they are phonies who serve their own interest, not ours?  How long will we continue not to question?  How long will we continue this zero mentality?  How long will we continue not to speak out against this collosal failure to do anything at Ground Zero or here at home?  Why has no one acknowledged this failure at Ground Zero?  This blight upon America’s Soul!  Is it okay for it to stay a dark and Ugly Hole, especialy when we spend billions of dollars in Iraq, a war not on Terrorism as lead to believe but a phony and false war, just like the Wizards.  No one is saying that either.  Are they afraid?  And, more importantly are we afraid of Change—to make ourselves beautiful again, whole again?
