Are "We The People" finally waking up? From multiple fronts, U.S. government officials, elected or appointed, are hearing loud and clear from the American working class and poor.
The latest call to action comes from the publisher of Hustler magazine, Mr. Larry Flynt. Read: Common Sense 2009
At the end of this article, Mr. Flynt calls for a national labor strike. I agree that we need to do something as a whole but question if those who couldn't afford to loose their jobs would participate?
For several months now, I've floated the idea of holding international rock & roll festivals to raise public awareness of our rampant government corruption at practically every level. Millions of dollars could be raised to beat the elitist at their own game. If we couldn't get existing mainstream networks to carry our broadcast we could create our own or, apply massive public pressure on PBS to better educate and enlighten the masses on what's really going on within the halls of local, state and federal government offices.
Where's Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, U2, Neil Young and many more? The times they are a changin', Democracy worldwide needs your support and action.
In closing, a big thank you to Mr. Larry Flynt, Rolling Stone magazine, HDNet, Bill Moyers, Jon Stewart, Charlie Rose, and the many other journalist who will at times speak truth-to-power.
