God Bless America

This morning ( Wednesday 05 NOV 08,  at 07:05 a.m., Riyadh time, 04:05 GMT ), my daughter called me and informed me Obama won. She was watching TV and I was on my way to office. I was about to go inside a shop to collect the newspaper.  I cried. I had to use a tissue to dry my eyes before going in the store so the cashier  would not notice.

It is not because I like Obama or do not like McCain. Not at all. I was emotional because a 200 years or so account of suffering is closed forever. This is  the America the world wants-- this America which should set an example for the rest of the world. The world as a whole needed this change to restore confidence in America.

Confidence in America means world problems, political of economical can be resolved. I think and hope the world is better now. I was not sure what title to give to this article. A number of them were fighting in my mind.

God Bless America, Accounts Closed, America Passes The Test with Full Mark, Racial Discrimination In America Is Announced Dead, Welcome Back America, Democracy Could Not Be Clearer, You Can Not Expect More of America. Then, I decided one will cover them All : God Bless America
