My brother sent this video to me and after watching it I felt so small. It details the direction that technology is headed. It also tells how fast our population, that's the world's population, is growing. Lots of info and facts that you may find frightening. Facts like: China soon becoming the number one English speaking country in the world. Or, the fact that India, with only 25% of their population, having the highest IQ's, is greater than the population of the United States. India also has more honor students than the U.S. has kids. Scary! Is there anymore important reason that we should be focusing moremoney into our scool system?
Our country won't be taken over by a horde of screaming Arabs, it will be taqken over by more educated people because our Government was too busy stealing and lying to it's people to pay attention to what was going on and we, dumb bunnies we have become, have been too busy watching TV, IPods, Cell Phones, Game Boys, etc., etc., etc. to notice that our children have become even more stupid than us. They can't learn if they have never been taught how to learn or have the desire to learn. But, I don't want to get too political here, just watch the Video.
We are now preparing kids for jobs that don't yet exist, using technologies that haven't yet been invented to solve problems we don't know we have yet. How about the fact that the U.S. Department of Labor says that today's learner will, by the time they are 38 years old, have 10-14 jobs. Talk about burn out!
And, there's lots more. But, instead of just telling you about it I suggest you watch this very informative video and then stand in a dark corner and shake off the effects. Our world is out of control. But, it's not just about technology. Very informative facts that I could have done without, but am glad to know.
