(9/2/08 (SYOP) Looks like Sean Hannity’s other half, Alan Colmes, is in the Right’s crosshairs.

On Saturday night, Colmes posted the facts concerning Sarah Palin’s youngest son’s birth day story to his website. and faster than Montgomery Burns could say, “Release the hounds,” the Right open the gates of hellfire. And not just comments to site - which would be their right. Idiots have the same freedoms as intellects, but the broadcast, bomb-throwing Lords of Loud, also entered the fray, including Fox contributor and O’Reilly Factor fill-in, Michelle Malkin, who wrote…

Of all the moronic attacks on Sarah Palin, and they are piling up, this has got to be one of the lowest of the low. And it’s brought to you by the morbid ghouls who would rather you abort your unborn children than bring them into the world and increase the planet’s carbon footprint. Left-wing definition of “proper pre-natal care:” A bloody trip to Planned Parenthood.

Considered by many on the Left as moderate at best and at worst, a co-conspirator, and the Fox News viewers as a tolerable Marxist, next to Fox contributor, Marc Hill, Colmes may be the most sensible voice at Fox. To be sure, his adversarial voice has gotten stronger as the Presidential campaign has progressed. Don’t ask me, just listen to how many Colmes soundbites Stephanie Miller plays and cheers rather than mocks.

But this week, Colmes needed to man the parka, ‘cause Tropical Storm Freeper blew into Alantown.

The reaction has not only been full of piss and vinegar, it’s been replete with plenty other excrement. Commenters slurred Colmes’s Judaism, Obama’s color and “baby-killer” and “scumbag” proliferated the pleasantries.

As Bill O’Reilly says when he daily-diatribes agin’ the Left: I don’t want to show this, but I have to.

I thought that it was Colmes job to be disfluent, look weird, lose debates, and make Sean Hannity look good. He does these things very well by the way.
