Well, snookered again!

Have you noticed the only positive thing people say about Barack Obama is, "Well, at least he's the lesser of the evils”?

Jeez, is that all we've got for the next four years?

It's getting harder and harder to keep track of the things Obama promised he was going to do during (and after!) the campaign that have been pitched overboard -- like universal health care for openers.

Also have you noticed how increasingly difficult it is to keep Obama and Bill Clinton separate?  If Rove was Bush's brain, has Bill Clinton become Obama's brain?

Look, the hundred day honeymoon is over and the people who elected this man get to have all the second thoughts we feel are appropriate.  Naturally, we'll keep supporting him, but aren't you sick to death of hearing people respond to the "gap" between his talk and his actions with, "Well, at least he's the lesser of the evils."

SO WHAT?  Did you think we were electing that kind of nothing President?  Didn't you think here was a man of conscience, rationality, and courage -- not a BORing clone of Bill Clinton and a right of center DLC machine president?

Well . . . apparently that's what we've got. We also shouldn't forget that the Clinton DLC right wing dem/pug machine is what puked out the 2006 Congress of "dem" traitors and cowards.

Boy would it ever be nice to hear lots of people talk about Obama as the man he gave us the impression he would be during the campaign.

Lots of commentators talk about the fact that he's doing "something" about lots of things, but they never say he’s doing anything particularly daring or moral.  They just say he's giving the impression that "things are happening".  Yeah, things like giving money and giving money and giving money (OUR money, by the way) to America's banks from hell.  I wonder how long it will take him to turn Bank of America into a new cabinet position.

Yes, it's easy to criticize and we should give they guy a chance.  But haven't we ALREADY given the guy a chance, and the first thing he did was to appoint Ron Emmanuel as his chief of staff, even though Ron has a documented history of militant hatred for Palestinians, plus good 'ol Ron made millions as a Clinton appointee helping to set up the brain dead financial infrastructure that made it possible for the pug/fascists to break the back of the American economy.

You know, there's just too many life and death issues here to settle for a lesser of the evils president.

This is not the time for Obama to keep playing it safe.  Are you hearing this Mr. President?  Can you find just a little time and energy to stop looking into your congratulatory mirror of history?  You know, the name of this game is not that (woo! woo!) you got to be president.  The name of this game is that you have to start acting presidential, so please stop listening to Bill Clinton since he's sold his soul so many times to the highest bidder (most recently Monsanto Corp -- what many believe to be the most corrupt corporation on the Earth), that he's a moral vacuum in a suit.

Hey, here's a great idea.  Go back and read your campaign speeches and do what you promised to do.

Do you honestly want history to classify you as a lesser of the evils president who never came close to actualizing his moral/rational potential?  Or a president with a DLC Bill Clinton brain?  Or a president who settled for "rhetoric" in a dying country and planet?  Knock, knock!  Anyone home?  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Mr. President but the world is on fire!
