I grew up in New York

I'm from the Eastern elite

My grandparents were immigrants

I am not effete

I love America

Just as much as you

I may not talk like Forest Gump

But what I say is true

I'm not sure What the problem is

And why you raise a stink

If you grew up in the East

Should they throw you in the clink?

The country is in shambles

Things are spinning

Down the drain
