<<a href="click here it is easy to see what is going wrong in McCain's debacle of a campaign and why... She points out in a not so subtle yet eloquent way, how it is Steve Schmidt, who has brought things to where they stand right now for McCain and his entire campaign... A chaotic and unraveling mess of gargantuan proportions...
Schmidt, who is McCain's current campaign manager, (that "very special someone" who is supposed to be in charge of McCain's run at becoming "Number 44" in the line of President's of these United States) is in the process of finding out just how accurate the old adage is which says, "What goes around, comes around!", and it is occurring in a very clear and in-your-face way, at that... (Others know this as, "The Law of Karma"...)
Schmidt, whom McCain calls, "The Bullet" or "Sarge", is not a very nice guy... In fact, he is not much more than an educated thug... And for good reason; seeing as how he's an active alumnus of the "Rovian Institute for Lies, Deceit & Dirty Politicking"... And on top of all of these fine and commanding qualities? He's quite simply a "Class A" jerk... Wouldn't he have to be just for the simple fact that he works with and for the likes of people like Karl "Turd Blossom" Rove?
At the beginning of his campaign, McCain stated quite emphatically that he was going to run a clean and ethical campaign... So, the question begs to be asked here... What was going on in McCain's head when he made the choice to bring Schmidt in as his Campaign Manager? Any thinking person would naturally have to wonder why McCain would choose to put someone in charge of his entire campaign, whom had in the past caused such trouble and heartache for McCain, whilst working for the opposing camp?
One obvious answer could be, that McCain had seen the writing on the wall in the form of plummeting poll numbers and all the rumors and innuendo skittering around by main stream media pundits and talking heads about the disarray of the McCain camp way back then in late June and early July, and that his 2008 bid for the Presidency was not looking so good...
So, who better to turn to than the person who so soundly whooped your very own butt in the 2000 primaries, but a Karl Rove clone? Namely, one Steve Schmidt!
(As a quick aside here, since McCain was now the golden boy of the repuglicans and not just a lowly primary candidate, it was more than likely Rove himself who suggested that the McCain camp use one of his golden boys, in the naming of Schmidt to this post and not an original thought of McCain himself... But I digress...)
So, McCain somehow came to the (not so) brilliant conclusion that he was going to have to go back on his word of running a clean and ethical campaign, and thereby letting the remainder of whatever small amount of the integrity he still held within, to go out the window and decided that he needed to hire someone to take charge of his faltering campaign that had the proven track record of running dirty, nasty, lie filled, innuendo laced and just down right ugly campaigns...
It must have made perfect sense to this 72 year old Presidential Nominee, that to have even a ice cubes chance in hell, of coming back in the long run to win this election, it would take someone that knew how to make Obama look just as bad as (in)humanly possible... Regardless of whether or not it took lies, deceit and just plain old nastiness to do so or not...
As McCain has seen his last great hope of fulfilling his dreams of being a dictator,<a href="click here errr-ummm, I mean "president", he had no other choice than to drive his campaign straight into the proverbial gutter... And Steve the Bullet, was just the man to do this...
Now what we are seeing in all of the nastiness, dirty politicking, lies and deceit that defines the "new path" that the McCain campaign has taken against Obama... (Ironically employing all of the Rovian methods that Schmidt used against his current employer in the 2000 Repuglican Primaries) And they are coming back to haunt the Bullet as we all watch the McCain campaign literally coming apart at the seams... And it is indeed, unraveling at an incredible rate of speed!
What I find so ironic in all of this, is that Schmidt has done such a nasty job in this campaign of ugliness, is that he even out did his mentor to the point that Turd Blossom Rove even said that the lies and smears had gone too far! With everything that seems to be going continually wrong in McCain's campaign... All of the missteps, bad calls and poor judgments, all of the leaks and out right statements made by high ranking McCain staffers, saying that Palin is a "Whack Job"! (Don't believe me? It's beginning to look like this guy Schmidt is either really bad at his job or maybe he's doing all of this on purpose... Like he has some hidden or unconscious desire to see McCain lose... It's almost like he's sabotaging the entire campaign because he really doesn't like McCain... Maybe it's that he really does dislike McCain deep down inside and took the job as his new campaign manager for the prestige and power of it all...Maybe he thinks it would look good on his resume?
Maybe McCain's campaign looks so whacked and chaotic is because the guy running the show is so whacked and chaotic, too... I don't know... It does all seem quite plausible when you look at the big picture as I'm seeing it... How things really did start to go from bad to worse, soon after Schmidt took the helm...
But for all of the dirty tricks... For all of the out and out lies, half truths and smears... It surprisingly isn't working this time!
The Rovian built, Joseph Goebbles' imitated, methodology of lying to the public until the lies are believed as truth tactics are being thwarted now... The Politics of Destruction is a failed way of doing things... A style of politics where all morals are thrown out the window... Where any dirty trick or lie, smear or accusations, like being a terrorist a pedophile or worse is used to attack your opponent is the norm... And now, that style is itself being destructed by the truths that spread like wild fire across the internet...
The days of the 30 second tv sound bites, filled with half truths and out right lies, that stick so easily in the minds of gullible voters is going the way of the dinosaur...
It is obvious that the American People are tired of dirty politics as usual... They are tired of watching a failed campaign resorting to dirty tactics in order to deflect from the truth that they just don't have what it takes to win an election based on sound issues and debates...
Steve Schmidt... You're a bullet whose powder is wet... The nasty tactics that once worked so well for you and your ilk are no longer wanted or believed by the awakening American People... It's high time you pack your bags and go home...
