Deciphering Obama

When the White House became within Barack Hossein Obama's reach, entire nations carried the banner of hope. Peoples around the world, desperate for change, claimed the multi-ethnic president as their own. The name Hossein, the namesake of a Shi'a imam, pleased the Iranians. The Arab Bedouins in northern Israel believed they were related to him. Arab Moslems could relate to an American president whose name meant "blessing' in Arabic. Assuring the Jewish communities around the country, Barack assured them that his name meant "lightning' in Hebrew. And lightening it has been.

Barack Hossein Obama is the lightening that strikes at the behest of Israel while gathering dark clouds around him casting darkness over humanity, justice, and peace. These are none other than self-confessed Zionist, Joe Biden; the terminator, Hillary Clinton, who undertook to annihilate 70 million Iranians for Israel, and pro-Israel Dennis Ross as the "senior Iran policy-maker." This latter translates into a softer line on Israel and a tougher one on Iran.

Barack showers Israel with aid and support while other nations are violated. He made good on the promises he made to AIPAC:

"And Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided."

Perhaps Barack and the Lobby believe that by killing Palestinians, the Jewish states will be 'cleansed of their sins' for on every Jewish festival, Jewish voices say: "Umipnay chatoenu golinu mayartsaynu," which means: "Because of our sins we were expelled from our land." Yet today, with the blessings of Barack and American fire power, Jerusalem is to become the undivided capital of Israel. Netanyahu justifies the occupation and the violation of international law. AIPAC applauds the breach of law, the intransigence, and suffering of others.

George W. Bush must have kicked himself for not having served Israel as well as Barack.

Barack's devotion to 'Greater Israel' is undisputed. As a candidate, Barack Hossein Obama condemned the Mumbai bombings in India, yet remained silent while Israel massacred the Gazans, only to reward them with a shipment of arms, which arrived on March 22, 2009. The elderly in Gaza were still lying in their pool of blood yet one of his first acts as president was to give $1 billion of the $87 billion stimulus money to the Jewish nursing homes and social services agencies. This was at the height of the recession/depression and housing crisis - crisis which continues to this day.

Barack promised and delivered an increase in aid to Israel while the United States was sinking in its own crisis.

Housing units are fast being built in East Jerusalem - supposedly under protest from this administration - but one has to be naive to believe it. Just as one must be naive to believe the bunker-buster bomb-saddled Nowruz greeting Barack gift-wrapped in "crippling sanctions" would win over a single Iranian with a sense of decency. Are Iranians so naive as to believe this administration means them well?

Those gullible enough to think that the "Green Movement" has the backing of this administration must know that Obama does not support any real Iranian 'movement' - this is what he said of Iran: "We knew in 2002 that Iran supported terrorism, we knew that Iran had an illicit nuclear program, we knew Iran posed a grave threat to Israel." In 2002 no one had heard of Ahmadinejad. Who was the scapegoat at that time?

Barack was never about dialogue. He was about undermining Iran.

"Our willingness to pursue diplomacy will make it easier to mobilize others to join our cause. If Iran fails to change course when presented with this choice by the United States it will be clear to the people of Iran and to the world that the Iranian regime is the author of its own isolation and that will strengthen our hand with Russia and China as we insist on stronger sanctions in the Security Council. And we should work with Europe, Japan, and the Gulf States to find every avenue outside the United Nations to isolate the Iranian regime from cutting off loan guarantees and expanding financial sanctions to banning the export of refined petroleum to Iran to boycotting firms associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard whose Kuds forces have rightly been labeled a terrorist organization."

Barack, the junior senator who introduced S. 1430 in 2007 already had "crippling sanctions" in mind for the Iranian people. Perhaps it was his inordinate talent and desire to punish Iran that caught the attention of AIPAC's president and a major donor to his campaign: Lee Rosenberg. This administration feels obliged to grovel to AIPAC. It is owned by them.

Are we all bound by the same fate? what is your obligation and destiny?

The famous French writer Jean de la Fontaine offers his advice - it is a fable called "The Wolf and Dog" - here are a few lines:

A skinny wolf meets a handsome, well-fed Mastiff which had gone astray. Striking up a conversation, the wolf compliments the dog on his fine appearance. The dog tells the wolf that if he left the woods where every morsel is a challenge to come by, and follows the dog, he could be as well-fed and handsome. The wolf asks what must he do in return. The dog tells him nothing much, just chase beggars, please the master, flatter, and he would get many delicious scraps and caresses.
