Daschle Withdraws From Nomination; Demand Dean

Acknowledging the bad press and vulnerability to Republican criticism his tax and lobbying liabilities inflicted upon the Obama administration, Daschle has withdrawn his name from the nomination for Heath Czar.

There's one Democratic leader who is the obvious replacement whose name is on every progresive's tongue-- Howard Dean, M.D.

The Obama administration would be doing the nation, the economy and progressives a major positive service if he quickly invites Dean to replace Daschle.
