I was shocked and alarmed
That I could not see;
What they did to the others
They'd gladly do to me.
I watched them loot
Someplace far away;
They robbed and they killed;
The American way.
Now that the world
Has grown too small;
It's the American people
Who have to crawl.
The great job givers,
Like their fathers before;
Have taken our wealth
And have run for the door.
