Not that Chris Christie was such a great candidate, but the GOP and mainstream media were all hot and bothered about his potential. Now, the word is out that he's announcing he's absolutely not, at least today, going to run.
That leaves hack-windbags Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, Islamaphobe Herman Cain, Extremists Perry, Bachmann and Santorum, and people that the GOP and the mainstream media will never allow to win, like Paul, Johnson and Huntsman.
Meanwhile, brilliant President Obama handed the GOP incredible ammunition yesterday, acknowledging that people do not have it better now than they did before he became president. Already Reince Priebus, GOP spokesman, is using it to attack him.
Americans are still waiting for a worthy presidential candidate to show up.
