Many people are killing themselves because they can't cope with the depression. The 177 Republican and 11 Democratic Congressmen who voted against the stimulus plan are guilty of negligent homicide. They should go to prison. Their Districts should receive no stimulus aid.

We are writing about a new way of thinking. Who said that Congressmen had to sit forever on the great money-making machine? Government has always been about theft. The Kings of England dined on gold plates. They said it was so the yeomen could have tangible evidence the treasury was solvent. Nowadays, the plates have been melted down and the Brits owe several times their Gross Domestic Product.

The USA is in even worse shape. A private institution has a right to print money. Last fall they created $2 trillions in marked notes earmarked to a secret place. The Federal Reserve refuses to reveal where they placed the cash, or what purpose it serves.

This was a major event. Before the 2008 election the US net worth on paper was $50 trillions. The dollar then did a nosedive to vaporize about one-third of our net worth. The official rate of unemployment has doubled and within three years 19 millions families will be homeless.

This devastation has spread worldwide as other countries joined the US parade to the bottom of the downward spiral. Fifty-six millions Chinese manned the unemployment lines, as US imports tanked. Iceland's three major banks went under the toxic asset load in a 24-hour period. In desperation the Icelanders joined the European Union just in time to see the Euro start the decline to parity with the dollar.

Muslims Have a Poor Perception of Reality

Muslims boast their Sharia Laws and other measures against many corrupt western practices such as usury have shielded against the Depression. To an extent, they are correct. However, when westerners fully develop the alternatives to fossil fuels, they will lose all interest in OPEC. The Muslim leaders should have seen this eventuality 30 years ago and owed their citizens to find new economic avenues. Instead, they blamed their shortcomings on the Israelis and the Great Satan America. They wasted resources to buy armaments to fight wars.

Americans Have no Conception of Modern Warfare

In this folly the Muslims are cheapskates compared to the Americans. Spending more on the military than all the other nations combined, the $trillion budget is an unproductive dead weight loss that does nothing to defend the country. Although there are no other major naval powers, the US Navy has 1000 boats. For a significant number of these, each has more firepower than was loosed during all wars. The missiles housed in three nuclear submarines could turn the world into a cinder. What is the need for so much destructive power? None.

Such a set-up requires a credible foe. The Communists played the admirable adversary for forty years, but even they did the fighting by proxy. The North Vietnamese stepped up in class when they defeated the USA. Since then the Afghans and Iraqis have found extraordinary strategies to win against the major powers. They have exposed the weakness behind them. Intelligent people trump so-called sophisticated weaponry.

America can't be free until she dumps the military/industrial complex. As it stands, a small number of people call the shots. Whether they are military, financiers or industrialists they command at base the national security apparatus. They have run the country for three generations, so long that few people even think about their power let alone question it.

The citizens are so dummied down they police themselves. They already are crushed and squeezed. It's no trick for the FBI to bottle them for cold storage.

More shocking, the information control and strong arm tactics extend far up the social order. We began with the 177 Republican and 11 Democratic Congressmen who voted against the stimulus program. All of us find reason to object to some of its components, but the naysayers didn't bother to offer new alternatives. The leadership is afraid to challenge the status quo of fear and repression. They just repeated the old discredited bromides aged 40 or 50 years that have brought us to Depression and chaos.

The power elite always favor a knavish population ready to chant slogans that drown out all reason. Life imitates a pounding aspirin commercial. If they beat us on the head long enough, we will become groggy and anxious for sleep.

Sleepers never agitate for their rights. They rarely voice complaints about the leaders. Little lambs march stolidly to the slaughter.

Born a month before Pearl Harbor, I attended world events from an early age. My first words included Mussolini, Patton, Sahara and Patton. At age three I was a regular listener to Lowell Thomas. My mom was an industrial nurse a member of the (more...)
