Can the world be fixed?

Its resources are being depleted

Its air and water polluted

Its plants and animals are becoming extinct.

"Oh yes," said the naturalist,

"The earth can renew and heal itself,

The plants and animals can reproduce and evolve.

Just get rid of the people."

"Can the people be fixed?"

Asked the philosopher.

"Oh yes, " said the dreamer,

"Just get rid of the false gods

That the people have come to worship."

"What are these false gods?"

A frightened people finally asked.

"The first is greed," one person responded,

That makes people bow down to money
