Busheviks warn of vast race riots if Obama "loses"

by Mark Crispin Miller     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

Tell A Friend

Here Dennis Prager propagates the line that BushCo has been floating for some time: that, if Obama loses, the USA will burn, baby, burn!

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/09/liberals_warnings_about_obama.html

This alarmist jive is not an earnest warning. It's pre-propaganda, laying down a terroristic story-line that will be very useful if and when McPalin steals the race, and people (of all colors) dare to protest over it. Then the cops--and military personnel--will crack down hard, for "our" protection.

BushCo is all ready for this move. First of all, Bush now has a free hand to deploy the National Guard of any state and send them anywhere he wants to: a right he got when Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act in 2006. (This law was passed despite the strenuous objections of the nation's governors, as reported at
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4182/is_20060815/ai_n16644258.)

And now he'll also have the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team, fresh from Iraq, to "patrol" the US, and "help with civil unrest and crowd control," as the Army Times reports (at http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/09/army_homeland_090708w/).

So be prepared, if/when McPalin steals it, for lots of action that could make the Battle of Seattle look like Woodstock.

Or we could thwart such a move--by talking openly about the possibility, and trying to get the media to do so, too.

The media

Great editorial (and I do sincerely mean that), but "get the media to talk about it too?" Is that a Turnip Truck you just fell off of there?

You're talking about election fraud, and the media acknowledging a problem in that regard. You must be joking.

A complicit media? That's as funny as a 700 billion dollar bailout!

Reply: Of course I don't expect the NEW YORK TIMES to cover it

or any of the TV networks. But "the media" includes a lot of other, lesser entities——lefty outlets, African-American radio, etc. For that matter, there are plenty of right-wing media that are actually turned off by the idea of martial law.

All of _them_ should be discussing this, because, together, they all reach a lot of people.

Reply: Ethnic Media

Some ethnic media is as spineless or bought off as the "majority media."  Witness the farm larceny, lynching for land that has been going on for decades ,which I and others have been trying to get "minority media" to cover.  they, too, are subject to advertising blackmail, and many self-censor before their big bux advertisers have the chance.; Having worked in the "minority media" I am well aware of the pressures--particularly by outlets who have other businesses and who are afraid that they may be targeted if they get out of line too much.  Same goes for so-called activist preachers. Rev. Wright is an exception not the rule.

Republicans

are still in the election, but they can't win on their 'ideas', and if they ran on their record they would be running for cover.

So what do they do? Their usual crap-they push hot buttons, blow smoke and present mirrors.

They have no more idea how to govern than they do on how to read "My Pet Goat" rightside up.

So watch them push fear, because that clicks with the voter right now. They have forgotten that often fear will build to anger and then hatred, and that hatred will be turned on them. November is just around the corner.

They do indeed push fear, but

their main move is simply theft, through vote suppression and election fraud committed on a massive scale. The fear thing serves more as a rationale to help "explain" their startling victories---since, as you say, they could never in a million years prevail honestly, by highlighting their record (disastrous) or their agenda (way out on the furthest fringe). So, when they "win," they'll say, "Americans feel safer with Republicans in charge!"--and, this time, "Americans will never vote for a black man as president," as well as: "All those Christians came out for Sarah, and helped John win." All of it 100% bullshit.

My thoughts exactly only it is the Dominionists. Bush is jus

Bush is just a small part of the cabal and their long term plans of eventual global domination. Yes they are setting up the semantic environment to mask the real reasons for their response. I wouldn't put it past them to promote violence against the fact that Obama will lose because we have a compromised voting system to start with. They may declare limited martial law in places and kerfews over entire states as they see fit. Don't forget Blackwater and InfraGard too who will be busy 'maintaining order' in areas of 'unrest' as is their wont. See occupied Iraq for examples.

The Coming Theft of the Election

I'm guessing that the machines are set for Obama this time. He's got the money behind him. He's got Rubin and Brzynsky next to his side. He's kissing major ruling class butt. McCain isn't eligible to be President. He wasn't born in the USA. Sarah Palin horrifies the rational people of this country. They need Obama to pacify the blacks of this country as the depression hits them first. And they need Obama to bring back the draft when they fight their desperate wars in order to hold on to their empire.
