Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar's Democracy leader and noble peace prize wnner

Although military regime allowed UN special envoy to meet with Detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, but the 63-year-old Nobel laureate, Ms. Suu Kyi did not attend a scheduled meeting with a UN special envoy on Wednesday. Mr. Gambari is the first UN envoy who was not welcomed by Aung San Suu Kyi.

According to her party source, she is not satisfied with the results during the last year visits of Mr. Gambari. This is the fourth trip for Mr. Ibrahim Gambari to Burma. All his trips to Burma were unsuccessful. Therefore Daw Aung San Suu Kyi does not have confidence in the UN envoy.
