Bring on the sun.

For too long we have lived under the oily depths of deceit. We have fought wars and killed millions in order to pollute our lives and those of our children. We have called it patriotism. We have called it progress. We have not stopped to think.

It is not too late. The gulf no longer divides us. We are no longer blind. They no longer rule us. Change has come.

We need more sunlight for the Gulf of Mexico. Bring on the heat to break up the oil.

Ultra violet light is one of the great disinfectants of the world. As the cloud cover reduces over the Gulf of Mexico, the sunlight will begin to break down the oil. As this occurs, the murky smothering effect of the oil industry will begin to fade. It will be a long hard battle, fought with surf, wind and light. Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, our allies, will do battle to clean the scourge.

I can see clearly now. The oil is gone.

The new soldiers stand in line. They stand square. They face the sun. They stand patiently. They work quietly and cleanly. They make our world hum. Let us embrace them.

The old oily way is done. The oil industry will help build the new. It is our right to ask. It is their gift to help clean the world. Let them step forward. The new bright order has arrived. We can breathe again.

Solar is the way. Stand together. Our future is bright. We have found the way. Let us bridge the gulf.

The time is now.

Bring on the sun.
