Boycott the oil companies. Make it a habit. We must change to save our planet. Chris Landau (Geologist)
This article is written in response to the author Dahr Jamail and the photographer Erika Blumenfeld, writer, for their article and photographs on OPED News on 08-22-2010. "Destruction along the Gulf. How has it come to this?"
Thank you Erika for the photos and Dahr for your article. Thank you for reminding us lest we become complacent. We should never forget. Oily cancer is with us every day.
We must not accept them as the only option. We must change to remove oil, gas and coal from our lives. These chemical cancerous killers haunt our days and our nightmares. They hasten our passage to the grave. They are not welcome. Never make them welcome. They are not wanted. Boycott oil, big and small. Boycott them all.
We must bring on solar, wind and hydro electric power. We must change. The oil companies never will. When we change our habits, we make a difference. Use less oil today. Use a little less tomorrow. Use less the day after. We are at fault. We support this monster. Do not feed the monster. Do not use oil, coal and gas. Let it go.
The battle begins with us. How strong are we? Can we let the oil go? Do we have the courage to try the new ways? Make a change every day. Make it a habit. We have the power. The consumer is right. Make a cleaner choice.
Begin today.
Never ever end.
Think clean.
Live life. Let our planet live again. Fight for our planet. Fight for your children. Fight for our clean world. Support life, not death.
Boycott the oil companies. Boycott them in thought word and deed. Boycott them every day. Fight the oily death.
We the Living will succeed!
