Foley Square november 17 by lila york

At 6:00 A.M. Friday morning Bloomberg television featured a report on the OWS protests of November 17, claiming that  only 2000 protesters participated and stating emphatically that "Occupy Wall Street has failed to generate enthusiasm from the American population".   Both OWS and the NYC police number the crowd at Foley Square at 32,500 people. And national polls put support for the protests at one third of the nation.   I telephoned the Bloomberg network and demanded that they correct their reporting. They re-aired the same report at 9:45 A.M. unchanged and unedited. Since Bloomberg is an international network, they have slandered the movement and the protests by fraudulent reporting. I notified OWS of the error and hope that their attorneys will address it. As of today, there is no video of the report published on the Bloomberg website, but I will link it if and when it appears. Since the network is owned by the number one enemy of the protests, it is not surprising, but unlike CNBC,  Bloomberg has been known for its honest market reporting. This propaganda report reveals it as an untrustworthy news service that deserves to be ignored in the future.
