Beware of Sarah by Unknown
The "One Nation" bus tour revs up to make herstory soon.
Onto the highway comes Sarah Palin's version of American History.
Seen from the perspective of Momma Grizzly herself, she sees in her bus tour a vision of the Constitution: The vision of our forefathers, Washington. Lincoln and Reagan; the Father of our country, the writer of the Gettysberg Address and the man who defined ketchup as a vegetable.
There are those who think Sarah is simply trying to renew her "brand." It is my sense, however, that Ms. Palin should be taken as seriously as a growth that changes shape, size, or color.
She wants to educate us and energize us. She hopes to take us on a tour of historical sights and through patriotic events.
She will show us the horse Paul Revere rode for the Pony American Express. She wants to get us in touch with our American exceptionalism. She wants to remind us of who we are and lie us down in green pastures and restoreth our soul. She may even kill something (to remind us of who we are.)
God help us all. Sarah makes me exceptionally proud that Annie Oakley and she womened up, and that she and Amelia Earhardt once flew in the Luftwaffe together. Dang! I hope she does kill something. I sure am a hopin' I run into her on her Greyhound, collectin' money all the way for her pac. And let free dumb ring and all the patriots act.
