In my childhood when we learned English at school we sang The International in English:

- Arise you, toilers of all nations

Condemned to misery and woe"

That was a very impressive anthem. With a vivid imagination you could feel the rising tide, the columns of workers, and the step of thousands marching to freedom. You really felt a part of the movement, camaraderie, the goal to achieve. That movement was international- it invited all people to their ranks it addressed all the oppressed, no race or creed mattered; no exception and no differentiation was presumed. That anthem did not whine- it aroused, it called to battle, the Last Decisive battle for justice. Ok, that idea was utopian but it was a plight of really desperate people, those who had nothing, who had been really "condemned to misery and woe' and as such a heroic dream. Those demonstrations did not carry guns- they carried banners and slogans. They did not ask to be left alone; they were calling to unite! And what a music! The Kremlin Tower Clock still plays that music despite the fall of socialism and plutocracy ruling in Russia. Putin and his cronies cannot silence the eternal music of revolution.

Real movement is always honest. Imitation is always moronic. I turn on the TV and I see the Tea-Party folks. I see those tea-packages on their hats, those guns, those screwy caricatures on Obama and I see American flag. No, those are not the "toilers of all nations'. And they do not look miserable. They look well-fed and with plenty of free time. They are not desperate. They are upset.

What are they upset about? The official explanation, supported by the media is pathetic: they are upset at the central government. Why not at the city councils. State legislatures, assemblies, why not at the National Guard? No, they are upset only with WashingtonDC. Why so? Because the guys in Washington are leaches- they drink our blood and spit on us. I agree. They were leaches all along. So why now? How did that happen that the "nation became suddenly awake' right after Obama's victory and not before? And what "nation'? I am an inquisitive person, a scientist. I can spot outliers in the date easy. Those people who hysterically shout, "Our President is a liar" and "Healthcare is socialism", are outliers. They have a consistent pattern- older-middle-aged, middle-brained men and women, predominantly white and predominantly ignorant. But there is more- they joined the "movement' because they were upset and nothing more. There was no goal, no disciplined mind- just a crowd of very upset, very insecure and very much used citizens roaming around a guy with a mike or a gal with a mike, carrying Sarah Palin's books, drinking a lot of bad beer and waving a lot of guns. Where did that happen before? Those faces, I saw them in a documentary. The faces of Bavarian merchants, the time- 1922, the place- Munich. There is no mike; the guy shouts like crazy. His name is Adolph Hitler and he knows the truth. He explains to the tea-partiers of that time the secrets of the corrupt Berlin government- it is all corrupted by the elitist liberals (social democrats) and Jews. He promises to his Bavarian Michels that if only they support him he will march them on Berlin and there they will "eat the heads of those liberals with the sour sauce'. Sounds familiar? He says to them that they cannot support their property because of the high taxes imposed by the democratic government. He blames that government for everything- from bad beer to the lost war. He says that "true conservative Germans' are under attack by radical liberals, homosexuals, corrupt Jewish media and socialists/communists. Of course, he never mentions the real governing forces of Germany- powerful landowners, industrialists, the Church and the Nationalist Party.

The beer putch. It took place in 1922 when it was inflation and people had no jobs. They rallied around Hitler and Ludendorf in Munich, the capital of then German Texas- the conservative Bavaria. In the Beerhouse Hitler proclaimed that he was taking power in Bavaria and called for all his followers to "march on Berlin' and destroy the Federation. That's how it started- with unlimited beer. It ended in blood. The real rulers of Bavaria used a perfect opportunity; they made a deal with the Berlin rulers that if they themselves take care of that psychopath (who was their creation anyway), they will get concessions, financial incentives and even political autonomy. Their man, Ludwig von Kaar turned against Hitler and called upon the Bavarian army to move in. The putchists tried to start their "march' they armed themselves with guns and marched to the downtown Munich with Hitler at their head. But they were met with machine-guns. The crowd was decimated; Hitler ran away and was soon arrested. In a day it was over. Of course in 11 years after that the same powerful rulers brought Adolph to power again, this time for real. In the Beerhouse it started and ended in blood of WWII.

I am scared. With the six-pack our imitators are starting a movement and in blood it might end. And again, as it was in 1922 the innocent and naive will be killed and cold-blooded bastards will reap the profits. What an investment; for several kegs of beer and some guns they have a crowd at their disposal, the crowd which sees nothing but enemies, which loves its ignorance and promotes illusions, the crowd of scum. I am so sorry but scum they are, the Black Hundred by Russian definition, the unfortunate and upset, not united but deeply divided. They have no future and they will not fight the Decisive Battle. They are there to be used and abused.

The people who sang The International faced a tragic consequence. They were deceived and abused too; there were mass casualties and millions of dead. There were revolutions betrayed and great ideas squandered. But all-in-all they won- it is due to them and their effort the people in the industrial countries can live normally, enjoy vacations, benefits and even developed democracies. It is due to them colonial powers fell and empires collapsed. It is due to them there was progress. Their cause was just.

The imitators, the Beer putchists died promoting evil. They died fighting for regress, for the medieval way of life, for bigotry and moronic perceptions. They died for a bad cause.

Ad that is why I still prefer the "Arise you, toilers of all nations' and its magnificent music to the "Arise you, scum from all the corners' with no music at all. No music, period.
