The hypocrisy goes on and on and on when it comes to right wing Fox propaganda zealots Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity.

With so much focus being registered on ACORN by Rupert Murdoch's dynamic duo it should be asked: How many deaths have been caused by ACORN? How much federal funding has ACORN received? How about directing those same questions regarding Blackwater, Halliburton, and Kellogg, Brown, and Root?

Eric Burns, president of Media Matters, on September 24 delivered a release revealing the results of that organization's effort to uncover answers to those foregoing questions. The results speak volumes.

On Beck and Hannity's programs combined ACORN was mentioned 1,502 times between May 8, 2006 and September 18, 2009. As Eric Burns noted, "Remember that ACORN has not been charged with any wrongdoing. Not only that, but the organization has been awarded just $53 million in federal funding over the past 15 years -- an average of $3.5 million per year."

Remember Jack Abramoff and Congressman Bob Ney of Ohio? Look it up and you will see that one is still doing time while the other was released after wearing prison grays.

Then there were those well documented disclosures of scandal, corruption, and even death of U.S. troops, contractors, and Iraqi civilians relative to government contractors Blackwater, Halliburton, and Kellogg, Brown, and Root along with the scandal ridden Republican corporate operatives Abramoff and Ney.

How many times were those names mentioned by ACORN watchdogs Beck and Hannity? Abramoff and Ney were mentioned 62 times. Halliburton along with Kellogg, Brown, and Root received 43 mentions while Blackwater was virtually ignored. Blackwater received 4 mentions.

Here is the overall breakdown from investigative efforts of Fox's whiz kids. On Beck and Hannity programs they were 35 times more likely to discuss ACORN than any of the military contractors. ACORN was 24 times more likely for discussion than self-confessed corporate-political criminals Abramoff and Ney.

Beck and Hannity ran wild any time any story surfaced about ACORN even when accusations were unproven. Conversely, when cases of massive corruption and even death were involved there was scarcely any mention of involved individuals and organizations.

Remember also that when it comes to Abramoff, Ney, Halliburton, Blackwater etc., even when they were mentioned the strong likelihood was a whitewash or blistering attack on the left and those "who failed to learn the lessons of 9/11."

Such are the practices of pit bull investigators Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity at "fair and balanced" Fox News where "we report and you decide."
