Last week, Speaker John Boehner and his far-right allies launched an outrageous political attack against women's health, and threatened to shut down the entire government if they didn't get their way.

Well, the Democratic women of the Senate stood together and said, "No!" No to defunding Title X, which was signed into law by Richard Nixon and saves $4 for every $1 spent. No to taking away cancer screenings, HIV Tests, contraception and other critical health care from millions of women. No to playing politics with women's health and women's lives. And we won!

But of course, Speaker Boehner, Eric Cantor, and the extremists in the House didn't stop their attack on women's health. They demanded a vote on defunding Planned Parenthood this week -- and it is a vote we must win.

Stand with me now, and urge the Senate to oppose all attempts to limit women's access to health care today, tomorrow, and in the future!

Tomorrow, the Democratic women of the Senate are going to speak out, loud and clear, and say that we won't allow this attack on women and children to succeed. But we need you to stand with us.

Planned Parenthood is one of the most respected health care organizations in America, and for good reason. It is dedicated to ensuring women have access to birth control and basic health care services such as breast cancer screenings, HIV tests, and pap smears.

In fact, one in five American women has gone to Planned Parenthood for health care in her lifetime.

I've heard from women who say they wouldn't be alive today were it not for Planned Parenthood. And yet our right-wing opponents have launched a political assault against Planned Parenthood and other women's health providers.

They won't give up -- and neither can we.

Stand with me now, and urge the Senate to oppose all attempts to limit women's access to health care today, tomorrow, and in the future!

I founded PAC for a Change to advocate for the issues that unite us and candidates who will fight for those values we share. And today our online community can do a lot with just your signature -- by adding your voice and letting our opponents know that every day we will stand up and fight for our candidates and issues.

Well, if there were ever an issue that mattered, it is this one. We need to stop this vicious attack on women's health and Planned Parenthood. We need to stop extremists from playing politics with women's health and women's lives. Will you stand with me? Will you stand with the Democratic women of the Senate? We need your voice now.

Thank you for standing up and being counted in this essential fight.

In friendship,
