August 26, 1920 . . . If you like your freedoms, thank a liberal!

Know what happened, 90 years ago? The 19th Amendment passed, and women secured a right they should never have been denied.

"Denied;" who, or rather, which demographic was responsible for the beatings and jailings and ostracization that those fighting for women's rights had been subject to for 80 years? There is no debate or other form of argument here. Conservatives; exactly as they were responsible for slavery and the Civil War and have been responsible for every effort to deny to equal human beings the enjoyment of full equal rights before and since.

Thus it is a fact, not speculation or opinion, that for every freedom you enjoy . . . yep, you got it:Thank a LIBERAL!And for each of those freedoms that were won, they were won against stiffconservativeopposition. It is anathema -- conservatism is -- to any and every reference to freedom, indeed to the core principle of human dignity.
