AuditTheFed.com - Sign The Petition

Audit the Fed.com is now up and running with a petition you can sign to send a message to congress. The message is that we want to know much more about “our” private, debt-money, central bank - now owned by the biggest banks and those few who exercise real control over these same institutions.

There is probably no more important petition you can sign at the moment, with potentially more important and far-reaching implications. On the website you can also find out if your representative and senators support the bill.

Currently there are some 256 supporters in the House and only 17 or so in the Senate who have signed on as co-sponsors of Rep. Ron Paul's fed audit bill. What is both surprising and despicable it that only 100 or so supporters to date are democrats.

In my own state of California neither “liberal” senators like Feinstein and Boxer have signed on as of yet?. The same is true of many other so-called “democrats.” I think we can conclude from this surprising ratio that Wall Street may well have more power and sway over “democrats” than the republicans - a dirty irony to be sure.

While Barney Frank has now moved to support an audit, he will likely attempt to water down Paul's effort and preserve the economy and democracy killing “independence” of the “Federal” Reserve. In any case we will now find out who bows down to the money power while pretending to represent their constituents.

Please add your voice to one of the most important legislative efforts of our time.
