Members of Congress
I find this resolution to be one of the most ignorant acts yet conceived y this Congress. More than sufficient to warrant voting everyone out of office.

Whereas nothing in this resolution shall be construed as an authorization of the use of force against Iran:

(3) demands that the President initiate an international effort to immediately and dramatically increase the economic, political, and diplomatic pressure on Iran to verifiably suspend its nuclear enrichment activities by, inter alia, prohibiting the export to Iran of all refined petroleum products; imposing stringent inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes, trains, and cargo entering or departing Iran; and prohibiting the international movement of all Iranian officials not involved in negotiating the suspension of Iran's nuclear program; and

Now just how would you "..impose" anything on Iran without the use of force?
Nothing short of a complete blockade could accomplish this...an act of war according to UN Conventions.
I see nothing to "prohibit" a use of force. I don't see anything here to "prohibit" the export to Iran of American tobacco products...that would hurt people who fund campaigns...right? Or as McCain indicated, that is "one way to kill them".
Your approval rating is at a dismal 9% now. Do you really believe you can keep your seat in Congress if you start yet another war and drag us into a depression? What would that do to oil prices? What happens when the cost of fuel finally halts trucks that deliver our food and products to market? What do you do when what does move is too expensive for anyone to buy because the jobs are gone along with our houses.
What do you use for soldiers when people cease to join the military because of all the illegal and ill-advised wars you helped get us into. Will you institute a draft, sending thousands to Canada to live?
What ever happened to a government "Of the People, By the People and For the People"? What "People" have ever asked you to help destroy the constitution, our jobs, our credit, our reputation, our children's futures and put us trillions of dollars in debt?
Who do you plan on for funding for another war? China perhaps? Maybe you can get North Korea to chip in.
Who suggested that the "law" is no longer the law provided the president decided he does not have to obey the law unless he wants to? Why would a Congress help the president break the law then try to help him cover it up? Because to let the truth be known would expose to the public just how complicit Congress is in all of this lawlessness. Will you do your duty to impeach or just "let it slide" because America does not really need justice.
