Today, workers and supporters protested for fair wages and decent treatment. Braving icy cold weather, between 150 and 200 workers and supporters gave talks, then a group, joining arms, blocked Broadway, in front of a Walmart Express store.

There are four protests against different Walmart stores scheduled in Chicago, 12 throughout Illinois. This was the second of the four in Chicago. The first also included planned civil disobedience and arrests, acorrding to an organizer of the action.

Similar protests are taking place all across America, while inside crazed consumers are brawling over bargains, as reported in this article: Walmart Becomes #Brawlmart With Rampant Black Friday Fights.

Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big)  to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, debillionairizing the planet and the Psychopathy Defense and Optimization Project.
