Another Cheesy Hollywood Movie Parody, Part 1: I See (Through) Corrupt Politicians!

By       (Page 1 of 1 pages)   1 comment

As I awaited my laundry to stop spinning at the Bing Wong Wash Center, up on Telegraph Avenue, I was reading another sort of spin from mayor-soon-to-lose-his-power-grip Tom ('Master') Bates.

Today's (10.4.12) The Daily Californian's front page reads, "Measure Seeks Transparency."  Bates was commenting on measure U, or, "Sunshine Ordinance" as it is referred to by those citizens tired of being jerked around and lied to on a daily basis by those sworn (under oath) to uphold the laws under our constitution so that the citizens are not subjected to an Aristocracy.  Of course Aristocrat Bates does not want this measure to pass, because he would then have to answer for all his back-door dealings with his fellow land-developer buddies, like John Gordon.  If adopted, measure U would replace a previously-voted-upon ballot measure that asked for more transparency from our elected officials, but failed to deliver any punch because the measure was set up to fail from the beginning; it required an "advisory commission," reports The Daily Californian reporter Aliyah Mohammad.  Mohammad added, "If passed by the voters, the ordinance will mandate that legislative decisions be made only in public meetings.  Residents would also be allowed to place issues on the City Council (sic) meeting agenda, and any person attending the meeting will be given additional time to speak on agenda items."

Of course Master Bates does not want this measure to pass!  He's got a whole lot of stuff to lose!  Maybe even his freedom!  No more secret meetings by public officials is what it means.

The mayor did make some comments about this proposed ballot measure, "It's just really bizarre, over-the-top measure that's put together by a lot of people who are paranoid about what's happening in Berkeley," stated the under-fire politician.  Let's take that quote and examine it for a moment, carefully.  Hmm... yeah... he's full of crap.  Okay mayor, what is so damned "bizarre" about tax payers wanting to know where their hard-earned cash is being allocated?  Why is it "paranoid" to want to see if you are doing your job correctly and are being a corrupt-scumbag-piece-of-crap?  Hey, if you have nothing at all to lose... why not allow these people to see what you are doing?

Unless you are hiding something, maybe?

Bates says that there is no money for this measure to work.  He says the money would have to be diverted from "city labor," implying it will cost jobs.  He also says the money isn't there.  Okay, where did the money go, Mr. mayor?  You see... we can't just take your word for it.  We must see just where that money went.  You see... we can't trust you to tell us the truth, because you are an obvious liar (Just by your own words I can tell you are lying your ass off.) aligned with land developers (like Gordon Realities, for instance) to rape the city of its property, so you can jack up rents, to move out the local, mom-and-pop businesses, so you can get corporations in here, so you can make a sh*t-ton more (personal) cash.

We already have Dick Cheney and Halliburton for evidence of how this thing works, everyone.

This case is merely a microcosm of what the (recent) aforementioned criminals have done to our nation.

The Daily California article ends with mayor Bates projecting his own lie, as he states, "People are not to go for this.  It's not going to pass -- people see through them."  Okay, number one... the reason this thing is even on the ballot is because of those "people" you speak of, stupid.  And no, not those country club douche bags you hang around with, either.  I'm not talking about Judge ('...and I never slice.') Smails and ('You'll-have -nothing-and-like-it!') Spalding as being part of those "people.  The people I am referring are those with whom you are screwing, currently.  They would like some answers, and your smug tone is showing through, loud and clear.  Adding, "It's not going to pass" after the first statement "People are not going for this" shows me he doesn't even believe it himself.  He has to keep saying it.  Yeah, we already heard you!  It ain't gonna pass!  So why are you whistling through the graveyard with your hands in your pockets?  Yet another case of, "Thou doest protest too much," apparently.  As for the final line, "people see through them"... yeah, we do see through... you.  Again, you are trying to sell all of us on the fact that there are "people" out there and they "see through" those who would like transparency and honesty in our elected government?

lol!

Hey, mayor... if I were you, I would ask for a linen job, when you arrive to prison.  This way you aren't in your cell with Bubba all that much.  I'm sure you are going to have issues walking, at least for the first few months, because of Bubba's appetite and predilection for corrupt politicians.  But it will get easier.

Trust me.  One liar to another.

I've heard (from sources close to this story) the prostate muscle begins to loosen up a bit... you know, after being rammed a few times...?  So, at least there is that.
