Former U.S. Diplomat and U.S. Army/Army Reserve veteran, Ann Wright, a retired Colonel, spoke on June 16, 2010, at the Potter's House restaurant in Washington, D.C. Col. Wright was on one of the vessels in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, when it was attacked, on May 31, 2010, by the Israeli military, in international waters, in the Mediterranean Sea. She shared her strong feeing about that blood stained event. Col. Wright sharply blamed the Israelis for the deadly assault on unarmed civilians and also criticized the U.S. State Department for its "wimpy" response
to the affair. Her talk was sponsored by "The Potter's House Church."
Col. Wright was introduced by Alice Azzouzi.
Col. Wright is the co-author of the book, "Dissent: Voices of Conscience." See: baltimore.indymedia.org/newswire/display/16292/index.php
