Our goal is to spread awareness about a candidate who stands for
justice, equality, and the fundamental principles
Please become with familiar with Rocky's principles and background, if you haven't already. Good places to start: www.voterocky.org , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_Anderson, and http://www.justicepartyusa.net/ (the latter gives a quick summary of the Justice Party's main principles).
Your first step,
assuming you like what you're finding at these sites and reading below: Visit and vote on Americans Elect! While the Americans
Elect Forum has received some criticism, using it will not only get Rocky's
name out, it will get him on the ballot in most or all states, with no strings
attached. Critical! If you are in agreement with what Rocky and the Justice
Party stand for, register, vote, and pass this article on: http://www.americanselect.org/
Spread the word online. While reading online
news that allows commenting, take a few minutes to type out a comment, short,
clear and to the point, about how Justice Party principles would likely
alleviate the situation. You need not be a professional writer to accomplish
this. Along with your comments, encourage others to visit the sites above and
to familiarize themselves with the Justice Party and Rocky Anderson. We want ALL
serious Americans to be involved at whatever level they can! Commenting and
linking are extremely powerful ways to accomplish this, particularly if you read
the news online regularly.
We want to inform others and show them how they can join this
grassroots campaign, a campaign that belongs to all of us. Short and diverse comments
are easy to make, and they're often more memorable than the original articles. By
making them appear over and over, far and wide in countless places, from traditional
and college newspapers, blogs, established websites, to "echo chambers" such as
Facebook, Twitter, and so on, we can largely bypass the mainstream media, which
unfortunately is not so pleasant toward third parties, particularly those which
challenge the status quo.
At the same time, we do not hesitate to speak with confidence and
truth about what has been happening to our country, and what needs to be done,
in whatever media we can. Watch a few of Rocky's videos if you haven't already
(http://www.voterocky.org).
Following are some points to keep in mind while commenting, a task
we hope you'll take seriously and continue regularly. Yes, we're off to a late
start, but that may well turn into an advantage, as others fire shots at one
another, in addition to their own feet. A wildfire of comments spreading across
the nation will plant seeds of thought exactly where they need to be--in the
minds of active voters. Every comment counts, and each one spreads ripples of
awareness to places unknown.
The Justice Party was formed to transform our
government so it works in the interest of the people, including later
generations, and not just for a small handful of wealthy elite. We are out to spread
awareness of how corporate and concentrated wealth controls our government, such
that there truly is no longer a "lesser of two evils." Democrats and
Republicans pander to the same interests, which clearly are not "of or for the
people."
Demonstrate through our own actions that grassroots
organizing, social media and other democratized communications, can trump the
taint of money in our electoral system and government. We seriously intend to
eliminate the system of corruption that now controls politics.
Educate folks about issues having great impact on the
world we live in, both now and for later generations. Brief explanations as to
why a particular issue is so important to you, to the reader and others, will
help open eyes.
The Justice Party intends to obtain governing
authority through vigorous election campaigns in the public interest, as
opposed to the interest of those now buying Congress and the White House. Say what you can to convince readers that this
can and must be done, for their own sake and to rebuild the foundations of our
country.
