Poo on the Foo Fighters. Hippie bums are complaining about John McCain using their song “My Hero” as a campaign theme without permission.
"It's frustrating and infuriating that someone who claims to speak for the American people would repeatedly show such little respect for creativity and intellectual property. This isn't the first time the McCain campaign has used a song without making any attempt to get approval or permission from the artist," said a press release from the band.
McCain has already had run-ins with Boston, Jackson Browne, Heart and John "Cougar" Mellencamp for playing their songs without permission. Palin has been using Heart’s “Barracuda”( or should it be, “Sarahkuder”).
Since McFailin’ seems to be having a hard time finding an appropriate song they can use, allow me to suggest the following for Palin. I’m sure she knows how it goes as she has no doubt rehearsed it many times in front of the mirror.
