Ever since I was awakened by a coworker on September, 11 2001 telling me to watch the news, that we were attacked, I still haven't changed my mind from what I thought while watching the first hours of that event. Which was I immediately thought it was an inside job. Never once did I think otherwise. It was a gut feeling I had at the time and in the years since, I still strongly believe forces within our own Government are responsible. There are too many pieces that just don't fit. We are supposed to believe that the hijackers of all the planes involved only used box cutters to pull it off. This doesn't make any sense because if any one were to put themselves in the place of the passengers being hijacked I'm sure they would agree that it would have been better to have stormed the hijackers and risked getting cut rather than do nothing and die, as we are led to believe. If the U.S. Government really wanted to put to rest the idea that The Pentagon was hit by something other that a passenger airline they would have released the video from security cams proving their claim. But they don't, and the reason they simply won't is because there isn't any video in existence that shows an airline crashing into The Pentagon. This is the only reasonable explanation for their refusal to do so. Then there is the question of the events being seen in paper money. If there isn't anything to it then why, all of a sudden, change the bills as fast as was done in the several months following 9-11? I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist that grasps at the ridiculous such as some have, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the writing on the wall either. I believe this whole 9-11 farce was orchestrated by forces within The U.S. Government that stood to benefit profoundly from such an event. First of all, any one who had any thing to do with big oil stood to gain enormous profit from the United States going to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The only thing that hasn't quite gone the way they wanted it to is the fact that Iraq caused us to get bogged down and have to fight a Viet Nam style Guerrilla War, and thusly, drain much needed forces from Afghanistan, leaving that country vulnerable to Taliban regrouping and becoming strong once again. If this hadn't happened, I'm sure we would have invaded Iran in about a year from our invading Iraq because I believe it is this "oil block" of countries that was the goal of this Administration's ambitions since 9-11. If The United States were to have successfully pulled this off, we would have control of most of the Mid East's oil reserves, a feat which would have stood to benefit all parties involved in The Bush Administration beyond belief. The latest bill passed into law and signed by George W. Bush, giving The Government full access to the privacy of millions in the form of wire tapping is a prime example of a Government still using our fears of terrorism as a tool to tyranny for the benefit of the few and the loss of valuable Civil Liberties for most. For The Bush Administration this has great business benefits as well, because "no one" can pull off a business deal that they wouldn't know about before hand. 9-11,the wars that followed and our continuing loss of civil liberties is part of a giant money making scheme orchestrated by The Bush Administration and those in the silent background who stand to benefit enormously from all this. One has to read between the lines of deception and study the happenings to realize what's actually happening. The fact that Colin Powell resigned his post as Secretary Of State is just but one example. Powell resigned because he couldn't bear to have to lie to The United Nations about a false threat, and have to lie to the American People about the real nature of the war on Terror.

JREF has raised some very good questions, that i suppose were explained in the later films in the series (or did the coverup/psyop on the movie goers continue to get played out; i haven't been interested in fiction since i was a kid- that's why i only turn on the news to see what they aren't talking about, and why i haven't seen most of the star wars series)
In any case, the obvious answer is that 9/11 was able to happen as it did cuz it too, like the Star Wars series, is fiction; a stage-managed exciting action-horror-drama epic that only exists in TV land and the minds of gullible people

i agree with your first point; what supposedly happened on united 93 is what would've happened on all the planes, if the supposed hijackers, who were small (and at least 6 were reported alive after 9/11), were only armed w/ boxcutters.
There's no evidence that anything other than a 757 hit the Pentagon, and there's evidence that one did; the Pentagon and other persons and agencies "of interest", are currently in no danger of being investigated by the Republocrats controlling Congress, or either Republocrat candidate, Obama or McCain; why would they release the video, when they can continue to milk the divisive controversy over a non-issue that was stirred up by a few heavily promoted DVD's?

If you have a specific comment/problem with anything i say or link i post, i'd love to be able to respond to it. Also, if you have any substantive evidence that anything other than a 757 hit the Pentagon, i'd love to see it. How did a missile cause the 100' gash in the base that can be seen when you look at ALL the photos? Hundreds of eyewitnesses saw a jumbo jet headed for the Pentagon, dozens and dozens saw one hit, many remembered it was silver, many saw the AA logo. My sister works in DC and knows people that saw it hit, as does just about everyone from that area.
I don't know for sure that Tom Murphy's not a paid shill trying to get activists to waste their time, but from a year of reading his comments, my personal belief is he does it as a hobby, and from his misguided values.

BWO is correct, although I wouldn't call my posting here a "hobby" or that it's based upon "misguided values". Rather, I'd call it a concerned citizen's attempt to bring balance into the debate by employing a perspective that's alternate to the majority of OEN's authors/posters. And the values, believe it or not, are essentially the same for BWO and me - we both think of ourselves as patriots, are concerned about our country's people and global standing, and have a desire for revealing the truth.
Where we differ is how we process our observations of the world around us and prioritize what we "know". We then create relationships and draw conclusion on this knowledge. Prioritization is conducted largely via a moral philosophy or ethics system that is developed and refined over a lifetime's experience. This is where the wisdom part influences our knowledge.
For it should be accepted that knowledge without wisdom is dangerous.
For the record, I have no material waiting to go. I write in response to those issues that pique my curiousity. Whether you believe this or not is your concern not mine - similar to whether or not I'm a paid propogandist.
I will state unequivocally, though, that I am not paid or compensated in any manner for my postings by any third party; my comments are wholly my own and I take full responsibility for them. However, I do take exception to those that post I AM a shill without offering any tangeible and objective proof to the same. Such comments are reckless and slanderous and offer nothing to the discussion when made without objective evidence.

Interesting that you disdain predictability and imply that credibility is mutually exclusive. Now there's a powerful footing for a debate.
Faced with a choice, I'd support consistent assessment and critical analysis of the big issues over a variety of unsubstantiated assertions or manufactured evidence. Clear, compelling, and yes, transparent.
On the blocks - put on spikes? It's commonly referred to as discussion/debate. And I don't recall anyone within the discussion denying that they are in the possession of a body of material facts and associated links. Whether derived from written sources or not, a belief system and point of view is certainly best proposed with verifiable, common sense evidence. Evidence accumulated through meaningful research and assembled into a working timeline.
I personally am in the possession of reams of verifiable evidence that sharply contradicts the official version of the 911 attacks. And the aspects are predictable, consistent and credible - vastly more compelling than any assertion put forth by any government agency or official in their attempts to apologize for their failures.

Nobody who can think for themselves at all could ever buy the story rolled out by the government. Then there's all that film footage which got blocked or which the Pentagon has refused to release.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, William Rodriguez, a janitor at the World Trade Center stated that he had heard and felt a huge explosion in sub level B-2 prior to any aircraft hitting the Trade Towers. What does this tell you? Maybe Mr. Rodriguez was hallucinating and just thought he heard an explosion? I'll bet that's what happened. But wait a second! Shortly after hearing this explosion, William Rodriguez also witnessed people coming up from the basement, some with their skin hanging off. What could have caused this? Was it the explosion? And remember, this occurred before either of the two buildings were hit by "any" let me repeat that "any" aircraft. So what could have caused this and the subsequent explosions that followed?
What is most astonishing is the fact that William Rodriguez's eyewitness account was never added to the "official" 9/11 story. Why? I'll tell you why, because the "official" story is a hoax, a lie, a contrived charade used rally the "sheeple" of America around the flag and to support these two illegal and horrific wars and occupation. It was all planned in advance, part of the PNAC's document "Rebuilding America's Defenses." It is Middle East hegemony and at any cost. Bring it on! A plan that has killed and maimed countless Americans who are being sacrificed needlessly, all for what?
Sadly, America is now beginning to feel the wrath of this very deadly and maniacal plan, which isn't yet over! A country now imploding from within, without as much as a single squib. Mission accomplished!

Look at the photos, remember that in demolition you cut the metal supports on the slant to make the building 'walk', and make up your own mind based on the evidence of your eyes.
From the beginning, the FBI had a trail of bread crumbs that a drunken beat cop coundn't miss. Rental cars at airports, abandoned Korans, airliner flight manuals, names, passports and blueprints for the operation. All the connections that any investigator dreams of - leading right to bin Laden. A slam dunk - why would anyone be suspicious?
Then the top Pentagon officials at the center of the failure to respond to the attacks gave their first account to the press. Then, a second, different version to the Congressional Investigators. And a third contradictory version to the 911 Commission. For a failure so crucial and massive, the kinks in the excuse/apology just have to be worked out over time. Don't ask questions. Leave it to the pros.
And the intelligence community, the FBI in particular, promotes those officials most responsible for the failures in preventing the 911 attacks - and gags or threatens others that want to come forth - Sible Edmonds being a prime example. Standard behavior of any agency wishing to be forthright. Move along folks - there's nothing of interest here.
I guess Bush and company circling the wagons, vigorously fighting the formation of an "independent investigation" into the attacks, wrangling politically to affect the makeup and stated mission of the Committee and locking the White House down in secrecy about all matters 911 shouldn't raise any concerns. Keep moving folks - there's nothing to see here either.
And the 911 Commission, the travesty following the disaster, should be praised for skillfully selecting only the aspects of the crime to suit and support a preconceived, official version of the events... to the exclusion of reams of critical, contradictory evidence. Why be in doubt? Stop staring people - go home.
And the ultimate application of assumed government legitimacy for mass comsumption when the 911 Commission boldly proclaims that: "... the financing of the 911 attacks is, ultimately, of little importance...".
And any official that ever investigated a two-bit robbery at a convenience store falls down laughing.
So how could any patriotic American be suspicious about their government and it's agencies demonstrating such integrity and honor regarding each and every aspect of the largest mass murder in US history? The event that gutted the US Constitution and The Bill of Rights, created a dictatorship of the Executive Branch and spawned two immense wars of aggression with industrial murder to the tune of over one million civilians, (so far).
Trust your government - they know what is best for you. So shut up, move along and go shopping.
