Now that's what I call an attitude adjustment! I wish everyone would just get an attitude adjustment like that. The world would be a lot happier, don't you think? Why can't things just be simpler?
It's funny how things work sometimes. You get up, you get dressed, you go to work, some of us pay taxes, and you take for granted that everything is working the way it is supposed to work. You take for granted that the people who run your country are not criminals, (murderers --or even mass murderers, war criminals, and thieves), and you take for granted that your government is not corrupt, and that your tax dollars are being spent wisely to create a more peaceful world --a world where your kids and the kids of your loved ones can grow up and live happy lives.
But you know, some of us wake up one day and realize that this is all a fantasy! You see, surprisingly enough, I am not the only one who has become concerned about some of these matters.
So then what? Are we learning anything? Have we learned anything? Do we actually try to find out what is going on? Does it even matter that President John F. Kennedy was murdered by a consortium of organizations including the CIA and the FBI?
Let's put things in perspective here. Shall we "let sleeping dogs lie?" Or should we, "leave the past in the past?" What or where does that get us?
The past becomes the present when everything remains the same. And there you are. So where are we, exactly? We are seeing more of the same as we have seen in the past. Nothing has changed. Nothing will change until all of us do something about it.
Then I thought to myself, It's an Exchange. 9/11 was an exchange.
In exchange for the 3000+ dead at the World Trade Center and four commercial airline jets and their passengers destroyed and fatalities at the Pentagon on 9/11, the U.S. military has killed over a million Iraqi Arabs for "greater Israel" and begun to terrorize the rest of the world. When a brilliant scholar of religion and philosophy claims our nation has grossly violated universally accepted moral values in pursuit of global domination, we should listen. When he offers abundant evidence to show that the attacks on September 11th five years ago were an inside job, a murderous deceit to generate massive public support for this global domination project, we should listen very carefully.
Dr. David Ray Griffin is a truly heroic figure who has risked his lifetime reputation and the ridicule of being dismissed as a "conspiracy nut" in order to expose the hollow emptiness of the government's version of 9-11.
Dr. Griffin awakens his readers and listeners to many hidden facts about the attacks. He asks us to consider World Trade Center Seven, the 47-story tower, not struck by any planes, imploding in its own footprint, just like a perfect demolition, in 6.5 seconds at 5:30 pm on September 11th. Like the infamous "magic bullet" in the JFK assassination, the ignored, unexplained implosion of WTC 7 reveals a glaring lack of plausibility in the official government story. Dr. Griffin provokes other disturbing questions as well.
How could the twin towers themselves collapse as they did? These 110-story behemoths were specifically engineered to withstand being struck by large jets; yet they disintegrated into huge plumes of powdery dust in mere seconds, their hundreds of massive steel pillars conveniently chopped into truck-fitting 30-foot pieces that were quickly moved to ships and sent to Asia. No steel-framed structures, not even the famous dome near the epicenter of the Hiroshima blast, had ever collapsed by fire before or since 9-11; yet we are supposed to believe that on that day three mammoth skyscrapers succumbed to flames.
Dr. Griffin asks us to remove the government-provided black hoods and demand answers to critical questions. Why did our air defenses not function on September 11th? What "war games" exercises was VP Cheney overseeing that day? Why did Cheney and President Bush forcefully resist any meaningful inquiry into 9-11 events, agreeing only to speak to the 9-11 Commission on the condition that they could avoid testifying under oath, prohibit recordings and notes from being taken, and appear together, before only two of the ten Commissioners? Doesn't such blatant evasion warrant serious suspicion? Dr. Griffin thus also makes us reflect upon the very meaning of our democracy.
