With a straight face,

Things are improving;

Wait and see.

Try telling that to the sightless and future limbless;

To the relatives and friends of those

Who will never see or hear their loved ones again.

And the pretender thief smiles and laughs,

And ignores the news

As he sits back and enjoys the sun,

In his Ivory Tower,

In Crawford, Texas.
