Jenna, don’t you think it’s time for you to sit down with your Dad and ask some of these questions, and please, don’t fall for him telling you that Iran is a serious nuclear threat when we estimate they are approximately five years away from being capable of manufacturing a nuclear weapon. Look closely at the situation in Pakistan and note that the Taliban and Al Qaeda have regrouped and now Pakistan is a hotbed of Radical Islam. If we bomb Iran, Pakistan will be lost to the radicals, and what then when we face a nation that already has sophisticated nuclear armaments and is controlled by Radical Islam? Your father vowed to the American public that he would never allow the terrorists to have a safe haven again, and no matter where they were hiding, we would attack and kill the enemy. Instead, because of the greed of Iraq’s war for oil and profit, your Dad reneged on his word, and because of some song and dance from President Pervez Musharraf - he allowed the Taliban and Al Qaeda safe haven in the northern tribal regions of Pakistan, and now the country is infested with Radical Islam. Pakistan has been a long-time ally of the United States and by the incompetence of the Bush administration, there is a chance the country could wind-up in a civil war, and I believe the radicals would win.
Please Jenna, take these few questions into your father and demand an explanation from him. Do you believe in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Rule of Law? If you do, don’t forget to ask your Dad why he constantly spurns our law and refuses to listen to reason. He was elected to represent the people, not be their “Decider” - which equates to Dictator. I never would have addressed the President’s daughter, however, when you participate in an interview and ask us to “Leave you Dad alone”, then it’s only fair to say OK, but please present your father with these issues, and ask him to address the nation and explain to us why he holds the Average American and the Rule of Law in such contempt.
Respectfully,
William Cormier
