5.Incorporate local media into your expansion scheme, via glitzy public relations departments and well constructed press releases ( and paid ads).

Locally?

The "New $60 million "outpatient facility" recently constructed in Dover , with a $50 Million new services building waiting in the ropes, by Wentworth Douglas hospital, where all of the previously independent physicians are now confined, less those who would not" go along to get along", is a glowing local example.

Doctors who once prided themselves on their availability, affability, ability, and and affordability, are no longer in charge of anything at all.

They show up at eight, take a half-hour off for lunch, and go home at five.

And, the WDH CEO, who paid himself something more than $3 million over the last two years is "in charge, and has made all of this happen".

The WDH CEO never took a Hippocratic oath, but appears to have taken the oath of Mammon, is totally in charge.

The WDH CEO has enlisted a local DO as "Medical Director" to suoervise the totally owned and managed doctors he has thrown into the "$60 Million prison".

The DO, when asked, says he has "kids in college", and has no other excuse to offer for his spineless behavior.

So,

  1. Once the move to own all the means of production is achieved, you then make clear to any would be independent thinkers, any who might be left, amongst the now totally owned staff of health-care providers, that any outside the box thinking, any at all, will be punished by lost job or guaranteed loss of access to hospital owned and controlled facilities .Speak up/out, and you are gone
  2. If anything should go wrong in this carefully scripted highly profitable enterprise, make sure that that news does not get out, and if it should get out, immediately make a clear example of the provider(s) who "broke the rule of silence".
  3. There is a very clear and widely publicized case underway at Wentworth Douglas hospital of Dr. Littel , and Dr Moore, who were the contract pathologists for W. D. H..
  4. These two docs discovered that a hospital employee had unlawfully accessed patient pathology files, had altered these files, and then had shipped these files to unknown destinations.
  5. This is about as clear a breach of federal HIPAA laws as it is possible to describe,
  6. The two doctors were obligated to inform both the federal government and the hospital of this growth breach of security.
  7. Their reward? Their WDH employment contract has been canceled, and they are being publicly described by hospital spokespersons as, in some fashion, "incompetent, unworthy, and thus unsuitable for further employment".
  8. So far there has been no federal intrusion into this extraordinary breach of federally protected whistleblowers . Greg Walker fired them and is trying to ruin their careers, for telling the unpleasant truth, to the Federal Government, as the HIPAA Law demands
  9. In Dover , if you are Mr. Walker, it is apparently not enough to own and control every practice in town, it is important to have bragging rights to the latest super high-tech equipment.
  10. Thus, although you have very few surgical specialists at the beginning of their career(s), and even if you are not a science major yourself, you are aware of the old warning that "old dogs do not learn new tricks", you then invest, anyway, in a multimillion dollar robotic surgery machine, the famous "DaVinci robotic surgery machine', and you then force all of your surgical sub specialists to go to New Jersey and take a six-hour course on how to use this machine.
  11. If You then force the essentially ill or untrained specialists to operate their patients on this machine, the ensuing disasters should come as no surprise.
  12. Somewhere between one and three dozen WNH surgical disasters have been sent to a multiplicity of Massachusetts hospitals for repair of butchery done upon them by the ill trained surgeons who were forced by the WDH administration to use the da Vinci machine upon their patients.
  13. The diversion of patients to multiple hospitals in Massachusetts is no accident.
  14. Sending them all over the map prevents any one hospital in Massachusetts from understanding that serial malpractice is occurring in Dover New Hampshire .
  15. One of these patients had both ureters severed.
  16. etc. etc.
