They have already pared their expectations on the stimulus, that those that need it most will receive it the least.

And since 95% of the households will face "needs"- decisions, versus disposable income spending, there will be no net effect of the stimulus.

Most recipients will simply pay down on the first bill that looms largest at the moment of receipt. And that's a far more sound economic policy than is being disseminated out of Washington.

The media has been fooled into believing in trickle down economics. As a result, they only report about the impacts on Wall Street.

The American people know of this separation between Wall Street and Main Street. When the last Bush "" GHW Bush couldn't quote within 100% the price of a loaf of bread "" they were appalled at the lack of consideration of their pain. But today's young voters have been awash in hyper BS concerning economic drivers within the US school systems and will get their first taste this time out.

Dust off the computer and do research not on Ronald Reagan, but on the speeches of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Look up and study the economic policy of Huey P. Long (yes, he was the architect of the co-opted FDR policies and he was so despised by the establishment that they had him assassinated).

If you won't think of it as Democrat or Republican it will become more palatable and less threatening. The underlying theme of it all is less COMPETITION between Americans and more COOPERATION between Americans.

All of the Greed is Good, and Competition is Great stuff at some point must be stacked for a while so that we can go next door and meet the "Joneses"-; work with a competitor as alliance members to improve efficiency and launch new idea technology; build coalitions of people striving for a common goal.

That's the societal solution for what is ahead.

But the architect of your solution will be YOU.
