The mission to crack the 911 case gains traction

The FBI supervisors that suppressed internal agency cover ups of crucial agency failures, and the deliberately slow translation of key intelligence documents was ignored by the Commission.

$100,000 wired to the lead alleged hijacker by Pakistan's Intelligence Chief weeks before the attacks - the same man meeting with high level US intelligence officials on the morning of 911 - was ignored by the Commission.

The independent, military radar network that dwarfs that of the FAA, and the ramifications regarding the failures to respond to the attacks, is ignored by the Commission.

The complete failure of the Pentagon's sophisticated, multi-tiered missle defense system on 911 is ignored by the Commission.

An FAA supervisor destroyed critiical evidence at the heart of the failures, a federal crime, and was ignored by the Commission.

The funding for the operation resulting in the 911 attacks on the US was pronounced as unimportant by the Commission.

Regarding the largest, most far reaching crime and mass murder in US history - do you hear the second-rate, drunken defense attorney laughing hysterically yet?

In conclusion, and let's have a go at writing some US history: 

Let's not assume that our federal government - nor any of it's myriad agencies at the forefront before, during and after the attacks had anything to hide. After all, why would any official in any agency, or any politician, wish to foster doubt? And what possible element of the evidence could be deemed classified - and for what reason? Four hijacked airliners were crashed, three into landmark buildings and one into an open field in Pennsylvania.

Why would any official at the FBI, the CIA, the FAA, NORAD, the Pentagon, or Conoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, George Bush or the ten members of the 911 Investigative Commission wish to leave any American the impression that there was anything to hide?

Yet they do. Repeatedly, deliberately and consistently - through their actions and their words. The grandest of lies about the largest mass murder in American history and event that changed the world.  A disgraceful, arrogant collection of self-serving liars wiith a profound contempt for due process, justice, decency and honor.

The American myth remains safe.  For the time being.
