Next, he is going to go on and on about the supposed health detriment posed by soy. The following is a series of unsupported statements, rhetorical questions, ad appeals to unnamed authorities which ensure that the fear mongering touches as many health problems as possible, since polling indicates that health is a particular America obsession. We have: heart troubles, obesity, shrinking testicles, infertility, enlarged wombs, childhood leukemia, cancer, especially breast cancer, all ending with another appeal to authority, this time with foreign governments (which are well known to be better than ours!) "cracking down hard on soy" in unspecified ways. Research in 2000 showed that a soy-based diet at any age can lead to a weak thyroid, which commonly produces heart problems and excess fat. Could this explain the dramatic increase in obesity today? Recent research on rats shows testicular atrophy, infertility and uterus hypertrophy (enlargement). This helps explain the infertility epidemic and the sudden growth in fertility clinics. But alas, by the time a soy-damaged infant has grown to adulthood and wants to marry, it's too late to get fixed by a fertility clinic. Worse, there's now scientific evidence that estrogen ingredients in soy products may be boosting the rapidly rising incidence of leukemia in children. In the latest year we have numbers for, new cases in the U.S. jumped 27 percent. In one year!
There's also a serious connection between soy and cancer in adults - especially breast cancer. That's why the governments of Israel, the UK, France and New Zealand are already cracking down hard on soy.
Now we need to employ a little misdirection so as not to endanger the fragile link between the power hungry corporate sponsors and the outraged moralist gay haters and misogynists.
In sad contrast, 60 percent of the refined foods in U.S. supermarkets now contain soy. Worse, soy use may double in the next few years because (last I heard) the out-of-touch medicrats in the FDA hierarchy are considering allowing manufacturers of cereal, energy bars, fake milk, fake yogurt, etc., to claim that "soy prevents cancer." It doesn't.
It's all the government's fault. The companies that want to add this stuff to the food are not to be blamed, 60% already and doubling in the next five years (that's 120% of our food!). No, that blame should go to the out-of-touch government flunkies at the FDA. Medicrats? Note the subtle linking of democrats to deluded quack doctors (presumably working for the government) that want everyone to be turned gay. They are the ones that are encouraging the manufacturers to add soy to our food because they are so deluded as to believe the overwhelming science that indicates that rather than being a health risk, the isoflavones that we find so healthy in every other sort of bean are deadly poison in soy.
"It doesn't." And you can take that to the bank because you read that unsupported assertion at the end of a right wing fear campaign editorial.
P.S.: Soy sauce is fine. Unlike soy milk, it's perfectly safe because it's fermented, which changes its molecular structure. Miso, natto and tempeh are also OK, but avoid tofu.
Yep, might as well just drink Roundup from the bottle and sprinkle your supper with D-Con as eat tofu.
