These would be issues like abortion and life related matters, gay marriage, family issues, the proliferation of the pornography industry, and the drive to remove God from the public square. Those in the "religious left" actually take an anti-Biblical position on these issues SAID WHO? BILL KELLER??? IS KELLER REALLY SAYING THAT EVERYONE WHO FANCIES THEMSELVES A CHRISTIAN BUT DOESN’T KOW-TOW TO THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IS PRO-PORNOGRAPHY??? THEY ARE AUTOMATICALLY ANTI-FAMILY??? WHERE IS YOUR PROOF KELLER??? YOU ARE STARTING TO SOUND LIKE A FALSE PROPHET NOW. and are also heavily involved in the ecumenical movement, environmental issues, opposing war for any reason, world hunger, and social issues like healthcare, welfare, andeducation. WHAT??? SO PEOPLE WHO ARE CHRISTIANS BUT VOTE THEIR CONSCIENCE ARE ALL WORKING TOWARD A ONE WORLD RELIGION TOO??? ARE YOU MAKING THIS UP AS YOU GO ALONG??? I MIGHT ADD, LETS TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE ITEMS THE CHRISTIAN KELLER IS SPEAKING OUT AGAINST: 1) ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES – THIS PLANET IS BEING DESTROYED BY GREEDY CORPORATIONS AND POLITICIANS, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE ON THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT, SUCH AS OUR CURRENT PRESIDENT. IS KELLER SUGGESTING IT IS A BAD THING TO CARE ABOUT GOD’S CREATION?2) OPPOSING WAR FOR ANY REASON – IS KELLER SUGGESTING THAT THE PRINCE OF PEACE IS PRO-WAR? HAS HE FORGOTTEN THE BEATITUDES? BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS BILL, THE PEACEMAKERS. IN FACT, THERE IS NOT ONE PRO-WAR VERSE IN THE ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT (REVELATION BEING PROPHETIC).3) WORLD HUNGER – IS KELLER SUGGESTING IT IS NOT CHRISTIAN TO CONCERN YOURSELVES WITH WORLD HUNGER???4) HEALTHCARE, WELFARE, EDUCATION – SO ACCORDING TO KELLER IT IS A BAD THING TO HELP THE DOWNTRODDEN AND MAKE SURE THAT ALL PEOPLE ARE TAKEN CARE OF. FORTUANTELY THERE ARE OVER 300 VERSES IN THE BIBLE WHICH DISAGREE WITH HIM. Interesting that B. Hussein Obama's first bill as a United States Senator was a world hunger relief bill that they are trying to ramrod through as we speak. This would force the United States to pay apx. $900 billion MORE than we already spend on world hunger. While we have to do our best to feed the hungry, I guess Obama never read where Jesus said, "The poor you will have with you always." THIS IS THE SECOND MISUSE OF SCRIPTURE. THE SCRIPTURE KELLER IS REFERRING TO IS MARK 14:7, WHERE JESUS REBUKES THOSE CRITICIZING THE WOMAN WHO ANNOINTED HIM WITH PURE NARD FROM THE ALABASTER JAR. THE POINT JESUS WAS MAKING IS THAT THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO WERE BEING CRITICAL WERE NOT PURE. THEY DID NOT REALLY CARE ABOUT THE POOR, THEY WERE USING THEM AS AN EXCUSE. JESUS WAS MERELY SAYING THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS HELP THE POOR, BUT THAT HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR A SHORT TIME. BILL KELLER HAS NOW TWISTED THE WORDS OF JESUS HIMSELF TO EXCUSE NOT TRYING TO FEED THE POOR!!! HE IS ACTUALLY CRITICAL OF OBAMA’S EFFORTS TO STOP WORLD HUNGER AND WHAT IS HIS BIG CRITICISM, MONEY! I GUESS BILL NEVER READ WHERE JESUS SAID: “YOU CANNOT LOVE TWO MASTERS” There is nothing wrong with pursuing these noble social issues; believers should be more involved on those fronts. The problem with this group is their anti-Biblical position on the key spiritual issues of our day and their involvement in these ecumenical movements that require you to set aside the Absolute Truths of the Bible. ABSOLUTE LIE, ABSOLUTELY DEBUNKED ALREADY. However, they support the legalized slaughter of babies, redefining marriage to include men with men and women with women, perverting the family by brining children into homes with homosexual parents, and embrace ecumenical fellowships with all of the cults and false religions of the world. They deny the inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible, have rejected God's Word for the Absolute Truth it represents, and have bought into the lie of the world that there are "many roads that lead to God." These are the people who make up the "religious left!" YOU MEAN LIKE WHEN JOEL OSTEEN SAID THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GOD ON THE LARRY KIND SHOW AND HAD TO APOLOGIZE TO HIS CONGREGATION OVER IT BILL? IS THAT WHAT YOU MEAN? YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THIS CHARACTER ASSASINATION. BILL KELLER HAS OFFERED NO PROOF THAT OBAMA IS PART OF THIS RELIGIOUS LEFT, OR THAT THEY TRULY BELIEVE IN ECUMENICALISM. HE LUMPS A LOT OF RHETORIC THAT WILL FEEL GOOD TO SOME CHRISTIANS AND THEN LAYS IT ALL AT THE FEET OF OBAMA, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS NOT PRESENTED ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE THAT ACTUALLY LINKS HIM TO IT. ONCE AGAIN, VILE. B. Hussein Obama's church is the liberal Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, pastored by the racist Dr. Jeremiah Wright. Wright preaches a message of black separatism and is a racist in every sense of the word. SAYS WHO, THE BIGOT BILL KELLER? They ordain practicing homosexuals, support slaughtering babies, and preach the social Gospel of the religious left, having abandoned the inspiration of the Word and preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
